1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar browser storage are small records used to maintain sessions, remember choices, protect requests and measure service performance.
2. Essential storage
- Authentication and secure session cookies
- Role and access routing needed for signed-in experiences
- Security, request integrity and load-balancing records
- Short-lived interface state required for a requested feature
3. Analytics and performance
The website currently includes Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Production deployment must confirm their exact data behaviour, retention and consent requirement for Indian users and any other applicable audience before optional measurement is enabled.
4. Third-party services
Maps, payments, notifications, identity verification or embedded media may set or use their own storage after those services are integrated. JOR will update this notice and provide choices where required before enabling them.
5. Your controls
You can use browser settings to block or remove cookies. Blocking essential session storage may prevent sign-in or protected app functions. Optional technologies should not be loaded until the applicable user choice is available.
6. Production cookie inventory
Before the paid pilot, JOR must publish a tested inventory containing cookie name, provider, purpose, category and duration and add a consent control if legally required.
Important: The current site does not yet provide a preference centre. Optional analytics should be reviewed and gated before broad public marketing.
