Matching system

Rules first. Ranking second. Human control always.

JOR uses eligibility rules and weighted ranking to help operations teams find suitable commercial drivers quickly without removing human judgement.

Pilot algorithm

Eligibility comes first

  • Required licence category and current verification state
  • Driver availability and schedule
  • Pickup distance and operational service area
  • Account, safety and platform restrictions

How eligible drivers are ranked

The current system can consider proximity, licence fit, availability, rating history, acceptance behaviour, vehicle familiarity and route experience. Weighting may change during controlled pilot testing to improve reliability and fairness.

The driver remains in control

A driver may accept, decline or allow an offer to expire. JOR does not promise a minimum number of jobs and a single declined offer should not create an automatic penalty.

Review and manual assignment

When no suitable driver accepts, the job can move to a manual assignment queue. JOR operations may review the job, contact relevant parties and document the assignment decision.

What matching does not do

  • It does not certify that a person is fit for every vehicle or route
  • It does not replace fleet-owner safety and legal checks
  • It does not make final employment, insurance or regulatory decisions
  • It does not guarantee acceptance, arrival time or trip completion
